I've got 2 plants of this mesem (unnamed, unfortunately), with one in a pot in the greenhouse, which doesn't do much,, and then this other one which is now a 2ft across shrub which stays out all winter. The latter is clearly doing better, and enjoying the British climate...

Lampranthus, presumably. You people by the sea have such luck. For me these usually look like they'll scrape through the winter then don't quite make it, and I'm not exactly in the coldest part of the country.

Does look like Lampranthus multiradiatus. ''Tis glorious...lucky you.

The flowers open pure white, then slowly turn pink. That's how I have 2 plants of it... :oops:

While it is probably Lampranthus, I'm not so sure of it being multiradiatus, this colour...
