Had this one for a while but never really known what to call it. This year it has come into bud so thought it might be my best chance to find out. Also, I couldn't believe it when I saw a recent vid from Lyn on her youtube channel with a similar plant to mine Do you think it could be a Neoporteria guys? Would love to hear your valued opinions on this.

Thanks a lot! I've just been busy on google searching your suggestion and think you've hit the nail on the head!! I have no reason to believe its a hybrid but I guess you can never say for certain - I got it as a small plant from friend who grew it from seed. Hopefully the flowers - once they open - will help me out some more.

normally at the top of the plant the spines of each areola are united and form a brush and this is the name of the plant
