Two days to spend in/around London, How?

Hello all,
I will attend the meeting in Leicester next week, but also spend two days before this, in or around London.
One obvious visit will be Kew Gardens, but what else ,Suckulent-related, can you recommend?

London isn't exactly the horticultural capital of the world, but there's always this place, though I haven't been there myself so I can't vouch for it personally:

There's a lot happening in London over the next two weeks, but hardly any c&s events!

This week it's the 70th birthday of the NHS; next Tues, the RAF Centenary fly-by over central London; there's international tennis in SW London and International Athletics in E London and even some football elsewhere ...

A full day is needed to see most of Kew. On-site catering is very expensive, so I advise buying a picnic at the Tesco store near the train/underground station.

The other obvious big place to visit are the RHS model gardens at Wisley, Surrey. However, access via public transport is impractical - acess via car is needed : https://www.rhs.org.uk/gardens/wisley

On Wed/Thurs next week, the RHS is holding their annual original botanical art exhibition in Westminster. There will be few if any c&s paintings, but it is wonderful to see skillfull originals: https://www.rhs.org.uk/shows-events/rhs ... d-art-fair

As Derek has said, it's best to allow a whole day for Kew; RHS Wisley is probably impractical. Another horticultural possibility is the Chelsea Physic Garden. Otherwise it rather depends where you are staying and your own interests. There's a lot to see in London and so maybe best just to choose something that appeals to you. You could consider a boat trip to Greenwich, a bus tour, the London Eye, St. Paul's, the National Gallery or many other things! Enjoy your visit and the convention.
