This is my first time flowering Eriosyce simulans FK 82, grown from seed since May 2009.
I was expecting a red flower, but this is not :/

We found both yellow and red flowered plants growing in the same area Christer. Of those I saw in flower I think the red ones were the commonest. As you probably know the plant is so called because out of flower they look like (simulate) the Copiapoa species they grow with, but of course Copiapoa's have naked flower tubes.

I flowered one given to me grown by Roger Ferryman from collected seed and that was yellow flowered too.
