Brachystelma buchananii

Post by Sylvia »

Was really chuffed today as my Brachystelma buchananii flowered for the first time. I bought it in 2009 from Ernst Speck. It is strange because last year Brachystelma barberae

flowered for the first time and again this year and now buchananii. I have done nothing different to them except look after them as always. I think this flower is particularly nice and it has not such a strong smell.

Well done Sylvia! I have never grown these, but do you think the hot conditions have helped?
