Your plant does look like a typical Arrojadoa rhodantha to me, Mike. Some of my plants of this species I grew from seed Marlon sent me several years ago - they may be from the same source as yours. Most of my plants of this species are coming into flower right now.
Here are pics of some of my plants:

Re: Arrojadoa ID
I think you are right James but perhaps for the wrong reason!
I spent some time this morning searching my records and came up with original seedlist from 2009 plus the empty packets.
I ordered Arrojadoa dinae v eriocaulis from the list. The packet said Arrojado eriocaulis MMd980. It obviously isn't that. But on the seedlist the next one down was Arrojadoa rhodantha so it looks as if the wrong seed went into the packet. A shame as I already have a large old rhodantha however this does have collection data.

Re: Arrojadoa ID
Sounds accurate Mike, I agree this definitely isn't A. eriocaulis. Certainly looks like A. rhodantha to me too.Herts Mike wrote: ↑Fri Aug 03, 2018 10:24 am I think you are right James but perhaps for the wrong reason!
