Software Update

Post by Bill »

Currently I plan an update of the forum software midnight on the 7th August, the forum may well be offline for several hours.

Well, this is different - instead of a banner headline on top of the forum page, I have an image of a cup of hot beverage with the unforgettable message of php BB.

This on my iPad. I've closed down and reopened but it seems that the Cactus forum is no more, replaced by a hot drink blog thing. Software changes? Ask TSB Bank.

FYI Edge on Windows 10 also has the coffee/phpBB "problem".

My laptop (on an older version of Chrome) is as usual. On my main computer with newer chrome I have the coffee (as on my smartphone).

On my main computer if I navigate to "home" (away from the forum) the BCSS logo etc appears as normal.

I have used edge and chrome this morning and didn't see a coffee cup, I did check version of chrome and it promptly updated itself, latest version 68.0.3440.106 (Official Build) (64-bit) working fine

Jim I checked my chrome and mine was 68.0.3440.84, I was prompted to relaunch for latest, which took seconds.
I am now using exactly the same as you, but I still get the coffee cup!
