Re: Mammillaria boolii
M. boolii is rather special too.
Seeing my old photos, I really must propagate these lovely mamms again.

Re: Mammillaria boolii
I have bought plants of this species before, but they did not make it
How long will it take before they flower from seed?
Thank you for sharing your picture...

Re: Mammillaria boolii
You have cared for them well, obviously. It's good to know that I may expect flowers in 4 years from now
Maybe you can post some photos of your flowers later?

Re: Mammillaria boolii
Nice flowers. Not especially pretty without flowers. Start flowering quite small though. Can be touchy, probably want treating harder than I tend to, and more heat.

Here's my potful of seedlings (2 separate plants), first flowered last year but I missed the flower. Sown in 2014

Re: Mammillaria boolii
These are my two 4 year olds, with collection number MH46 from San Carlos.
Must admit, they don't look as good as Ian's and Ali's!
I do also have a much older plant which is looking pretty god at the moment.
