Very nice Rod. Just noticed yesterday that some of mine are in bud (tu)
Joined Havering branch 2006, although have been growing on and off since the age of ten!
Have a large balanced collection of both cacti and succulents but enjoy growing cristate, monstrose and generally anything a bit weird!

This one is often early, but mine aren't this year. At least not this early. Not even in bud.

I have two (different parent stock) and the other one is showing no sign of budding either.

Do you not have any Lithops pseudotruncatella? Have they flowered yet?

My only pseudotruncatellas are this year's seedlings which are subspecies volkii and almost certainly too young to flower. I'll pot them on next summer and will offload some on the forum to interested parties.

Ssp volkii flowers relatively late compared to ssp pseudotruncatella, but it might still end up as the first for you each year. Having said that, this shot is dated June 22nd from two years ago, so that's pretty early!
