I'm not sure how many Nationals I have attended, first one was in 1983, but the interest and excitement never fades, I'm looking forward to next year's already! Basically you can expect many classes of superbly grown mature plants, you will be amazed and envious all at once. Then there will be many excellent nurseries selling vast numbers of plants, plus various books, sundries and information about specialist societies. Then of course, there's all the chatting to other enthusiasts. It's always a great day!

This 10-video playlist of very short snippets of two National Shows should give you a rough idea.

I must have donned my cloak of invisibility when attending national shows as I don't appear in any of the videos I have seen of them.....or possibly I am so green with envy I appear to be a plant!

I'm in two but only from the back- safer shot  .
I notice our Peter Bint from Manchester branch is in lots. Even Bill before his hairy days.

I was told the National schedule will be in our next cactus world, then I'll find out my repotting is all wrong again.
I did start recently with the big Fockea crispa, it went from 50cm pan to 60cm pan  , I don't think I have any bigger pans so that will be it now.

You see some super large specimen plants that you won't see at your local shows, its amazing what people have been growing and some for many many years. there are some very good growers out there.

varied collection of succulents and cacti but I especially like Euphorbia's, Ariocarpus and variegated agaves.
