The label on this plant says E. willowmanii as far as I can work out, for which I can find no reference at all. It looks similar to my Euphorbia suppressa and I believe it is a medusoid. Has anyone come across this name before please or agree with my thoughts?

Euphorbia wilmaniae perhaps?

Flowers will help a lot plus seed pods.

This does look like E. suppressa (or gorgonis?) and not like E wilmaniae. The name could be a reference to the town of Willowmore although E. supressa was only reported from further W when Gerhard Marx published the name.

Do you think your plant has been dug up from the wild? It looks quite old.

Thank you all, I thought Ralph had done some excellent detective work but can't find any pictures of Euphorbia wilmaniae to compare. I think it is an old plant, it is about treble the size of my 15 year old E suppressa.

I picked this plant up at the weekend with a plant labelled Euphorbia enermis (pictures below) which again looks very old, the 10p coin is there for scale. Both plants are very well rooted. The sellers had a lot of old greenhouse grown plants that look to have been pot grown for years and said they were getting rid of some of their Euphorbias to make space. I don't have any reason to think they have recently been taken from the wild and I picked them up for no money at all. But now I doubt that this is E enermis either.
