pachycauls: please help identify

Post by Schmitzy »

Hello,
I have had these for a while (gifts from friends) and can't figure out what they are.
The second one may not really qualify as a "pachycaul" but has a somewhat thickened lower stem. Its leaves are fuzzy. I attach two pictures for each. Thanks for any leads!
Yvonne (from Brooklyn)

Does the top one have slightly hairy leaves ??, maybe cibhiriza albersiana- if slightly hairy leaves, there is also a fockea that is similar

Thank you very much, Tina! The one that you think might be a Ficus has the hairy leaves. The other one has absolutely no hairs. I did check for Ficus species but so far could't find a convincing match.
