Re: Some more Conos
They look good, Peter. I'll post a few of mine taken over the last week or so, if that's OK!
First is C. minutum v. nudum Holbak form - similar to the one you posted on your other post. Next is C. ectypum ssp. brownii from Esels Fontein: This is C. sulcatum: And C. lithopsoides ssp. boreale ABCN1163 which always has lax nodes:

Quietly drooling!
Endeavouring to grow Aylostera, Echinocereus, Echinopsis, Gymnocalycium, Matucana, Rebutia, and Sulcorebutia. Fallen out of love with Lithops and aggravated by Aeoniums.
Currently being wooed by Haworthia, attempting hybridisation, and enticed by Mesembs.

Re: Some more Conos
Speaking of which, which is the nicest smelling cono according to you? I would like to buy a few more plants and I find it hard to find information about the scent of individual species.
All things small and not (too) spiny.

Re: Some more Conos
Look for C.ficiforme , C.obcordellum 'spectabile' and C.uviforme in particular.....but all nocturnal flowering species have a reasonably pleasant perfume to a greater or lesser degree. Diurnal flowering conos have little or no scent.
