I tried growing some of these from seed, bought off ebay, but they never germinated!
Potting mix was 33% loamy soil, 33% perlite, 33% horticultural grit, in a propagator with bottom heat and covered, compost was kept just moist but not wet as the growing advice instructed.
Can I ask what set up you had?

But I put my seeds in water, together with some soap and cinnamon. I kept them in around 25°C in that water for a couple of days and then peeled of the skin from the seeds. Then I planted them in a well drained mixed soil.
Yes, I do sterilize the soil' in the microwave oven and keep the pot in a plastic bag until they germinated.
Then it takes a week (or two) for them to germinate.
Keep the questions coming

Interesting, I did a little reading/research about Adenium before buying the seeds, but I don't recall anything about soaking them firstChrister Johansson wrote: ↑Mon Jan 14, 2019 6:22 pm I put my seeds in water, together with some soap and cinnamon. Nice plants Christer, I read years ago that these plants and Pachypodiuns can be cultivated and used as house plants. Do you agree with this ? Cheers
