photo file sizes

Post by Colin Walker »

Till this morning I'd not posted photos here for quite sometime.

So I have a question: has the upper limit of 250kb for file sizes now gone?

Tried looking in FAQs but didn't find the answer to my query. I'm assuming there's no longer an upper limit, which if correct is great since I'll no longer have to downsize my file sizes.
Cheers,
Colin

At the risk of giving a fairly useless answer, I'll say

there is still a limit, but not as small as it was...

My own observations seem to indicate its over 1MB but under 4MB if I remember right.

Doubtless we'll get an authoritative answer shortly.

Based on my own limited postings ..........
2Mb

or a max of 2000 pixels on the largest side

seems to post without much pain to the poster
