Re: Some Mammillaria seedlings
They're looking good, although the ones in the first picture appear to be a bit etiolated.

This is the first time that I have seen an image of M. bertholdii seedlings. I am fairly sure that they are not etiolated Rod, just look at the red pigmentation. This must be their natural development which is very distinctive and one can already see the beginnings of their long tubercles. Was there any problems with seed germination?

Re: Some Mammillaria seedlings
As Terry says, the bertholdii seedlings are not etiolated. They look like that. It takes a while before they pull down a bit and start growing more flush with the surface. I had about 50% germination without any treatment.
Re: Some Mammillaria seedlings
After chipping the hilum i sow them, from 6 seeds 5 germinated, there were no problem with the germination.Terry S. wrote: ↑Mon Dec 10, 2018 9:19 am This is the first time that I have seen an image of M. bertholdii seedlings. What was your source for the M. bertholdii seeds?
