Black markings on Trichocaulon
Two of my seedling Trichocaulon have developed black markings which look as if someone has gone over them with a marker pen. Otherwise they look healthy - anyone have any ideas what causes this please?

Cold? I have had similar marks on various stapeliad seedlings. Always seemed to stop when I moved them to a warmer spot.

This is called black rot, a common problem with stapeliads.
