Hello to all Forum members,
There have been a number of instances both of personal 'attacks' on members by other members and of moderation by members instead of moderators.
Whilst some of these examples are relatively trivial, others are not, and they do not reflect well on the overall quality of the Forum.
Please may I remind you all that there are some Forum Rules:
app.php/rules
Of particular relevance, please note:
2. Members should post in a way that is respectful of other users. Abusing other users in any way will not be tolerated and will lead to a warning. .
3. Members are asked to not act as "back seat moderators". If members come across anything that contravenes the rules or the spirit of the forum please notify the Moderator Team. Do not reply yourself.
Moderation is occurring daily by the Administrator and his two Moderators, albeit some of this happens behind the scenes by PM or email so is not always visible to most members. Attempts at moderation by members often does not help this process, indeed it sometimes hinders it considerably.
Thank you for your support in these matters.
