Hi All,
I sowed 5 seeds (CSSA seeds) in May of 18, one germinated. It produced 2 cotyledons upon germination.
It sat like that for months, finally I had the nerve to have a look and it was generating a large caudex.
But now, its losing its cotyledons, one at a time, and there is no sign of growth, though the shoot tip is still there.
plants have been in a nice heated greenhouse since sowing, and under 18hr days using florescent lights
Anyone grown this one from seed? Is this typical? I wonder if it needs shorter days or cooler temperatures to satisfy some form of dormancy.
thanks
Peter
