Small opuntia type ID help please

Hey everyone,

I picked up this cactus looking sorry for itself on a reduced shelf a few days ago, but I have completely failed to identify it. Can anyone help? It would be much appreciated!

The pads are between 2.5 and 4.5cm and when along the ground have rooted, and the spines are 0.3-0.8cm and white. The aeroles are ginger brown.

It's probably a Tunilla. See which one you can match up best.

It is Airampoa orurensis ( ex Tunilla soehrensii )

Maybe mods could move this thread to the small Opuntia sub forum

Nobody has posted on the small opuntia sub-forum for over three months. I suspect there are many people like me who only ever have a look at the main C & S plant forum pages. I have my own specialisations, but I would hate for those genera to get isolated in sub-forums.

I agree with Terry, it is not "can't" but "won't". I recognise the TSG forum is part of the TSG Society and can see the attraction of having a separate forum. But the evidence is that traffic to the TSG is slow.
There is plenty to do in life, following another forum is something I rarely have time for.
Are the societies of the forum members better served by dividing the forum up?
