Slowly I'm building a small collection of Echeveria Agavoides, and I've bought a few recently and thought I'd share with you.
First is a unnamed Sirius that when first arrived it was heat lamp pink ( Should be a named hybrid term )
Its slowly reverting, but we'll see how it changes come the spring and summer outside
Next is Victor Reiter, bought from a nice chap on Ebay and keen grower of Hawthornia. A good sized specimen that will be an interesting to watch .
and this little one is Frank Reinelt of which Im looking forward to seeing grow on and change colouring
Now the next two I'm not totally sure of their correct names, but they are nice plants.
This was described as Purple Ebony but more likely to be Giant Purple. I just like the colouring and markings.
The spottier the better as far as I'm concerned.
This was described as Red Sirius, perhaps a variant of Pink Sirius. My only doubts are that it is pupping centrally, and true Sirius aren't prone to offset easily. But again a nice plant to enjoy.
Finally a very small Agavoides Eric Hargreal , of which I'm informed is a reliable offsetter of pups. The colouring looks interesting. I'm wondering what the cross was?
I really hope to see other posts on this thread of your Echeveria Agavoides, as I just enjoy other peoples pictures, as much I like taking them.

Nice pictures and plants Wayne! If only I had space , this would persuade me to broaden my horizons beyond only Cactaceae!

Re: Echeveria Agavoides
Some nice Echeverias you have there, I have quite a few and a number of E agavoides, including several you pictured. I broke up an agavoides 'Red Edge', if you are interested. PM me and I will get back to you.
Obsessive Crassulaceae lover, especially Aeoniums but also grow, Aloes, Agaves, Haworthias and a select number of Cacti.

Re: Echeveria Agavoides
Here is a few of mine, Echeveria Agavoides 'ebony' , a large plant.
Echeveria Agavoides variegated hybrid
Echeveria Agavoides Taurus, interesting label
Echeveria Agavoides X tolimanenis hybrid
Not sure if these are hybrid Echeveria Agavoides X tolimanenis or pure echeveria tolimanensis, I went for different colours

Re: Echeveria Agavoides
Firstly it's great to see your Agavoides, please keep them coming.
The Agavoides have such a array of colours through the growing year, it will be great to compare.
Tina, you have some beautiful plants. Is the red a Burgandy ? Lovely colour, I hope my little one develops like that.
I've never seen a variegated Agavoides and you've added this to my want list Beautiful.

Re: Echeveria Agavoides
Wayne, the variegated 'Bess Bates' Tina posted isn't an E. Agavoides, I'm afraid, it's a variegated form of E. 'Black Prince'.

Re: Echeveria Agavoides
That's a shame but nevertheless a lovely plant.
Is there such a thing as a variegated Agavoides?
How tough are Agavoides to grow from seed?

OK, here's a variegated Agavoides
. Not particularly stable variegation but it's a start.
