Agave valenciana variegated?

Post by NorfolkExotics »

I noticed this when watering my seeds the other day. The undersides of the leaves on this A. valenciana appear to be somewhat different to my other valenciana seedlings that have a solid purple underside. I want to ask people with more experience growing variegated agaves whether this appears to be 'proper' variegation or is temporary or as a result of something else such as lack of light etc. Thank you in advance for any replies
