It's rather satisfying seeing the sequence of events during flowering. Nothing seems to happen for days .... your anticipation rises ... finally a magnificent flower opens .... then it's .... gone. It's almost poetic.
Endeavouring to grow Aylostera, Echinocereus, Echinopsis, Gymnocalycium, Matucana, Rebutia, and Sulcorebutia. Fallen out of love with Lithops and aggravated by Aeoniums.
Currently being wooed by Haworthia, attempting hybridisation, and enticed by Mesembs.
