Bloom!

Post by J23 »

Has anyone had any bloom from their winter resting cacti as yet? Here's a Rebutia marsoneri on Monday just gone.

Looking good! Good size flowers for the size of the plant! What size pot is it?

The only plants in flower in my greenhouse at the moment are my wife's freesias and a Cleistocactus which I don't remember seeing flower at this time of the year, it is usually a summer / autumn flowering plant.

My goldii is in a 2” pot. A very old BEF original. The plant is not that old but is very shrunken after a long winter.

Excellent, and pretty early for a Rebutia.

Quite a few Mammillaria, and the usual suspects such as Pelecyphora and some Turbinicarpus

It's sunny today, same is forecast for tomorrow - time to start watering I think!

Here's a Mammillaria that opened up with a bit of sunshine this morning. Unsure of an exact I.D., if anyone can help out.
