Nice! Were those lasiacanthas all from the same packet of seed?

They are fab! (tu) And when I saw that picture of the lasiacanthas I asked myself the same question as Ralph, with that variation in flower colour.

What I have noticed, it doesn't look like you have pollinated them (yet). The flowers still look as good as new. Don't forget!

Yes, all from the same seed packet.

What, pollinate them myself? That's what bees are for!

The first time I’ve had these three in flower together.

Another angle to prove there are plants below those flowers...

Excellent!!
I love the Lasiacantha plants in Spring, and I do think the flower colour can vary among plants grown from the same seed batch, just naturally variant. I too have M. goldii in flower now, as well as M. deherdtiana and M. teoexicansis of those shown, and lots of others as well. One of my favourites is M. rubrograndis L1199, in flower yesterday.

I bought this plant as Mammillaria viescensis ML546 but looks like Mammillaria chica.
I am open to suggestions.
