can't have too many

Post by Astro »

Small seedlings seem to really like some company but I may have crowded them a bit too much on occasion.

I'm not looking forward to transplanting these... I wanted to see if the seeds from two seed pods were viable, and I got my answer. With a plant cover this dense and plastic pots, all water has to be absorbed by the plants (very little evaporation from the soil) which can make watering a bit trickier.

Similar with these Dinteranthus vanzylii. They've started stacking on top of each other now.

L fulviceps in a 3.5" pot (+3 interlopers). Could be an interesting experiment to see if I end up with lithops cubes.

A little more breathing room, but for how long?

If you leave them in their pots only the strongest will survive and you won't have to repot them.

It's time to repot because if you have a rot that declares itself with plants so tight you will lose a lot
