I recently received this plant but seem to have mislaid the label, i know it was seed grown from a species from Tasmania, any ideas?

A Richea species. Without scale it is hard to narrow it down but probably dracophylla or pandanifolia. Most likely dracophylla. Very difficult to keep - well done to whoever got it this far!

Thanks Paul, it was raised by a professional nurseryman so quite a bit of experience in the way of propagation. Difficult in what way to keep? Any tips?

Water with rainwater. The only other tip would be don't ask me for advice as I have killed all the Richea that have come my way in double quick time :)

Your local stream water might have too many nutrients in it to qualify as rainwater!
Don't let it get too hot, or too cold, or dry out, and feed with a protea type fertilizer (i.e. no phosphate) would be my guess...having said that I have tried and failed to grow it from seed. Trevena Cross Nursery used to offer plants for sale, you could try emailing them.
