Ex-Tesco ID please

Post by MalcolmP2 »

Yes, I know, Tesco !! I'm sorry, but I couldn't resist liberating these three a couple of months ago :)
They were reduced 1/2 price, I'm a sucker for 50% off and no one wanted them, poor wee things
Anyway,
I think the one on the right is a Mammillaria elongata, do you agree ?
But I have not found the other two. (scroll down for close-ups)
and whilst photo-ing them just now I notice the middle one has grown a bit and will soon out-grow the carrier/mini-cloche.

Yes, M. elongata.

Also, neither with a huge degree of confidence, Neoraimondia herzogiana and Ferocactus sp. seedlings.

I'd tend to agree Ferocactus seedling for the first one, and yes to M. elongata.

Good, I like Ferrocacti :)

Eeek, both those columnars grow big, I'd best not give it too much fert. ! and it may be some years before it flowers then.
