Re: Echinocereus salm-dyckianus

Post by Ali Baba »

Having been alerted to the fact that the early Bradleya is online, I came across an article on Echinocereus which mentions Echinocereus salm-dyckianaus v. noctiflorus (presumably synonymous with E. scheeri now) which shows the trait of flowers closing during the hottest part of the day and hence appearing nocturnal.
See Bradleya 6 p81.
