Succulents in decline?

Nearly every topic on the forum now relates to cacti. Are succulents out of fashion?
Mesembs get the occasional mention, Agaves and Aloes just a glimmer, Stapeliads, Euphorbias, caudiciforms virtually nothing.
Such a shame because fascinating plants are being missed out on.

Perhaps this is partly due to the time of the year? Many cacti are in full flower and it seems to be a particularly good year. I think mesembs will be more prominent in the autumn.

I agree Mike. I was going to post a load of succulent flower pictures but came to the conclusion there would be little interest.

I'd be interested, we can be a select club of 'succulenophiles',
.
I have quite a few Pachypodiums flowering ATM I just haven't had time to process the images yet.

I think you may well be wrong there Mike. There's ia always an interest in flower pics. whether is cacti or " other succulents". I personally would like to see Pachypodiums, Mesembs. Stapelia, etc. Cheers

I agree it's a worry, Herts Mike, "Other succulents" do seem to play second fiddle most of the time here.
It's gratifying that the monthly newsletters do give us a fair go but I suppose the answer is in our hands, - the more we post the better our representation will be.
