For some reason I struggle to keep whitesloaneana. Had it and lost it twice.

My Orbea above came under collection number RN808 but that is not on Ralph's database. Anybody have an idea of who it might be?

I acquired an unlabelled plant which I think is a Huernia. How long from "baby" to flower? I'm bored with it and it doesn't seem to like bright light. So it's "out" should it not have an interest factor soon.
Endeavouring to grow Aylostera, Echinocereus, Echinopsis, Gymnocalycium, Matucana, Rebutia, and Sulcorebutia. Fallen out of love with Lithops and aggravated by Aeoniums.
Currently being wooed by Haworthia, attempting hybridisation, and enticed by Mesembs.

Many stapeliads seem to grow under bushes etc in habitat (but not Hoodias). Even single stems can flower...
