Some photos of my Huernia mccoyi (from Jabal Ramah Yemen) on the left, and Huernia sudanensis on the right, side by side. They look almost identical to me, same mottled stems, and growth pattern:

And a close up of the flowers:

A small plant of Huerniopsis decipiens in flower today too:

Interesting. I just saw someone selling what seemed to have rather less red (brown?) than usual and more yellow, so I bought it, and I'll see if it lives up to expectations when it flowers. If so, it might be time for another swap...

I think your first one - H. penderiformis, is an invalid name Ralph. There is a H. pendurata which is a hybrid, and has dark red papillate flowers, nothing like yours, yours looks more like H. hislopii.
The occulta is lovely!
Mike, I have a tiny piece of gilbertii rooting, yours is very nice!

My picture doesn't do justice to the flower colour. There are more buds so might produce something better in the next couple of weeks.

Thanks Diane. It wont be the first plant I have acquired with a dodgy name...

I've also got one labelled as H. hislopii, so I'll compare their flowers in due course.
