A really interesting Yucca Ian. Does it set seed?

It didn't last time. I only have one, but some Yuccas are self-fertile so I had hopes. Maybe better luck this time.

The flowers seem bigger than last time, and possibly more of them. Not sure it is destined to be a garden classic though, unless maybe a hanging garden. The flowers are almost at ground level and mostly hanging down, which is a shame because they are very nice when you can see them.

If you find you can't live with the disappointing display I'll gladly re-home it for you... I find these adorable - somehow like the b@stard child from a liaison between a yucca and a sanseveria.

Super colour. And not "drop-dead" gorgeous like an Agave!

I'm trying hand-pollination this time, in case I just don't have the right insects around the greenhouse. Otherwise, I'll keep my fingers crossed for even more offsets, and maybe actually split the plant this time.

The pot is 7" across the top, and deeper. I think it is a 3l pot, but tricky to check underneath. This might be a miniature Yucca but the roots still go down to Australia.
