Sorry did not see this post Mike ( I posted under heading Morning has broken ). Nice plant and I am surprised you can leave it outside.

Where I live that would not be possible, I leave mine in the unheated back porch, which gets down to about 4c some nights in winter.

Mine went in the cold frame this winter, min temp recorded was -4C, although I think that may be on the high side.
I was quite concerned come March, it was looking a bit sick, but has since perked up, all the stems have turned green again and it's given me a good crop of flowers. It definitely has decent cold tolerance.
