Plant ID and a nice little flower
Hi. I saw this little cactus a few years ago in a B&Q or Bunnings store (remember them?) which, at the time, was almost perfectly spherical. It looked so unloved I bought it, not ever hinting it would reward me with a flower or two. However, look at it now! It has flowers and is growing nicely, though I miss the spherical habit. I was thinking it’s a Mammillaria of some description?

That looks pretty close, Iann, though some in other pictures are a little more furrier...
It does look good a good match though. Will get my label out shortly.

There are several similar species, like M. supertexta and M. haageana, but they tend to have more obvious centrals or be even more wooly.
