epiphyllum flowers

Post by agavemad »

Finally I have epiphyllum flowers. Thanks to Chris43 and his kind wife for delivering these last year. It seams such a long time ago, but the glorious colour has now begun. Loads have buds and these are my 1st three :)

Endeavouring to grow Aylostera, Echinocereus, Echinopsis, Gymnocalycium, Matucana, Rebutia, and Sulcorebutia. Fallen out of love with Lithops and aggravated by Aeoniums.
Currently being wooed by Haworthia, attempting hybridisation, and enticed by Mesembs.

Such a shame. This is my 1st year. I read quite a bit about them and tried the be mean approach. I did not have room for them on the shelves of my heated greenhouse, so In winter I placed them under the staging in the greenhouse and brought them out in spring to a glass greenhouse with shade netting. They seam to be happy with that :)
More flowers this week :)
