mammillaria guelzowiana

Post by Mark07 »

Following the dull and wet weather of recent days my two mammillaria guelzowiana have lit up the greenhouse today, perfectly in sync :)

A rubbish day fades into insignificance when you get a plant like that.
Endeavouring to grow Aylostera, Echinocereus, Echinopsis, Gymnocalycium, Matucana, Rebutia, and Sulcorebutia. Fallen out of love with Lithops and aggravated by Aeoniums.
Currently being wooed by Haworthia, attempting hybridisation, and enticed by Mesembs.

Gorgeous plants, Mark.
But beware the guelzowiana jinx!
Too many flowers = flowers itself to death!
(I should not have said that! Good luck! )

Same here, except loads of yellow Dolicothele-types. I think they've been saving it all up while it was raining all week.

A small 2.5" plant that flowered a couple of weeks ago. Plant was originally supplied by Mr Ragamala.

Active grower of caudiciform succulents and mesembs. I don't really grow cacti (very often).
