My mature Pterocactus tuberosus is not going to flower this year. Others are, but not this one.
When should I prune it?
Now, to allow new shoots?
Or in autumn?
Or never?

Re: When to prune Pterocactus
You should prune your P. tuberosus in autumn.
Now it is too late to get new segments that can flower.
