Re: Help with cacti ID?
I think the first one is mammillaria polythele.

Last one, my hunch is pilocereus pachycladus which I’ve grown from seed.

Is this a new trend by nurseries to put the same type of plant, but of different age and size, into the same pot to help boost sales?
It works I have to say. But best split them up for long term development.

Re: Help with cacti ID?
The columnars certainly won't play nice together over the long term.
The M. polythele cultivar, I'd want to at least pull out the ones that are reverting to the normal species, maybe grow them separately. This is actually a stubbornly solitary plant, quite a large one in time.
The other Mammillaria looks like M. geminispina.

Re: Help with cacti ID?
Hi, many thanks for the replies. The mentioned plants seem spot on and now I’ve found out some more information about these plants.
I had been thinking that there were too many of the columnar style cacti in the same spot however being new to these plants I’m not very confident at separating them into individual ones. Do you have any advice on how I should go about this to get the best results mentioned in one of the replies.
