I want it- if it ever needs rehoming :grin: , its so weird n strange I'm still waiting for my Marlon babies to grow up, maybe they need more TLC.

Nice plant Mike, if not in the beauty stakes, I bet that plant is now quite heavy and hard to move.

Ray, it's not so much heavy as top heavy as it's in the smallest pot I can give it.

Hi Mike,
So is it normal for the cephaleum to start forming , stop and then restart further up. I had thought it would be continuous.
Also did you have it before it developed the cephaleum, if so how old/tall was it, one of mine is making quite good growth after its repot last year so I will repot it again this year to see if I can get more growth

It stopped after I moved house 5 years ago Tina and didn't restart. My current greenhouse doesn't get as much sun so last year I left it out in the sunniest position I could find and it restarted.

I grew it from seed but I can't be sure as to when it started though.
