Yesterday was our Zone17 Convention (N.Ireland/ Dublin branches combined) there was quite a good turn out of people to listen to George Thompson. He spoke to us on Cacti of the Caribbean and Melocactus supported by slides (never realised Melocactus grew so large). There was also plant sales by M. Harrington, we all had a good day, I know i came home with plants that i did'nt really need or have much room for.. we also had a small plant show judged by George this was limited to 3plants each in or up to 5inch pot size....

Tending more towards cacti
, particularly Gymnocalyciums, Rebutias, Sulcorebutias, Echinopses, Thelos, Feros and Mamms (and anything else I like the look of!) all in an 8 x 6 polycarb greenhouse and a few windowsills!
