Yet another new member

Post by anders »

Hi everyone,

I recently joined this forum, and this is my first posting. I have grown cacti and a few other succulents for ca 10 years, which has resulted in a collection numbering about 250 plants. I keep most of them on my balcony during the warm months, and on the windowsills the rest of the year.

Favourites: Astrophytum, Gymnocalycium, Ariocarpus, Echinocereus and Notocactus, and some cold-hardy Opuntia (that I never need to bring inside and take up valuable space).

Tending more towards cacti :D, particularly Gymnocalyciums, Rebutias, Sulcorebutias, Echinopses, Thelos, Feros and Mamms (and anything else I like the look of!) all in an 8 x 6 polycarb greenhouse and a few windowsills!

Mainly Haworthia and Gasteria, a few other South African succulents and the odd spiky thing.
