I'm struggleing to find what is different about this form/ssp. Anyone know what the difference is from the normal version?

Anybody speak Romanian?
I believe the main difference is the surface texture of the tubercles, rougher on var. trachythele. Some who have actually seen the plants believe there is too little difference to name a variety.

Yes - in the absence of anyone who is really growing these at full size. They do seem to be a good colour so I'm looking forward to seeing them perform next year.
