Merci Fritz!

Young Vic
Be very careful where you plant your Yucca. Many moons ago I got one in a 6 inch pot and tried it in the garden. It is now over 8 feet in height and last year had 13 flowers out at the same time. This years flower total is precisely NONE!!. It is a wonderful plant but it must weigh a ton and the leaves are to be avoided at all costs.

I have been growing C & S since 1968. A lot of my plants were imports in the early 1970s. I am a Crawley branch member sometimes!

Re: Yuccas
Hi John,
Must of been an amazing sight with all those flowers!
Mine are planted just outside the bay window and her indoors is already asking me how big they'll get - I keep telling her 'not much bigger', but I expect at this rate they'll soon start to block out the view from the window. Time will tell, I can always move them or get the chainsaw out, lol!!!!
I know what you mean about the leaves - needle sharp points.

Very nice Vic, There was a time when if one flowered in our area it was always mentioned in the local paper.
