Last of the Summer Wine

Post by David_L »

Hi Everybody

Lots of lovely end of season pics appearing and I thought I'd add one. As it's Autumn my Turbs. have all decided to flower. Top row is T. gielsdorfianus and T. jauernigi. Underneath is Neoporteria (Eriosyce) subgibbosa v. litoralis --- that's a will it, won't it flower! and last a promise of Spring. Mammillaria sanchez-mejoradae with hopefully dormant buds under the feathery spines ready to burst forth in the first Spring sunshine!

Nice photos David. You'll have to post again (please!) once the Neoportaria flowers have opened!!

Tending more towards cacti :D, particularly Gymnocalyciums, Rebutias, Sulcorebutias, Echinopses, Thelos, Feros and Mamms (and anything else I like the look of!) all in an 8 x 6 polycarb greenhouse and a few windowsills!

Nice picts David, it's always amazing when very spiny plants have flowers that have to fight out to open fully

Tina

varied collection of succulents and cacti but I especially like Euphorbia's, Ariocarpus and variegated agaves.
