There was one C. mirabile at the auction during the banstead meeting. It went for only 15? if I remember well, so very cheap.
I guess you'll have to wait for a couple of years before it will be available.

Yes, I can wait. There are loads of other great Conos and succulents already available - more than enough for my limited greenhouse space. I don't feel the need to have the latest discovery straight away - it is better that such novelties go to people who will propagate them.
So that was ?1 for the C. mirabile and ?14 for the MSG Research Fund - no Cono is worth ?15 a head? Which sp. would you pay more for from that dream nusery list?
