Congratulations, just about every angle possible:-)))) But do I detect a slight nervousness? That glass isn't coming off even for a photograph now

Hehe, yes, I'm paranoid that if I take off the hat, she will pop them far and wide. Finding brown seeds on a brown carpet is not going to be funny.
No poppings yet, and the other three pods, on the same stalk, show no signs of browning. The sun is just coming round onto the forbies now, so let's see.

Re: When, oh when, will they pop?
One more pod getting brown this afternoon! Stigmas browned last this time, not first. Girlie likes to let me know I don't know it all about her yet.
It's on the bottom right.
You will tell me when this gets boring, won't you?
------------
PS. Sorry about the pic quality. I tend to take about 5 and usually manage to keep my hand still enough in one or more. Not this time...

One more pod went brown today, so that's 4 brown and 1 green. (you can picture what that looks like without me needing to take a pic!)
No poppings yet.

Hi Julie,Your Euphorbia pod turn into brown it mean that you can keep(pick) it because if it not hot and dry enough it'll not pop.I'll show you the photos that I take some photo at 10.00AM this morning.

Re: When, oh when, will they pop?
Leonet, thanks! Beautiful pictures. Although the plants are so different, there is still that familiar seed pod's three-fold symmetry which I love.
Labatti seedling is lovely! Already has the lovely leaf colouring of the adult.
I confess that I picked a brown pod in this way from a forby in a garden centre! Poor seeds would not have grown... I consider it "rescue".
It did not pop.. I carefully broke it, but I will do as you say and pick off and put my seed pods in a warm place. Thanks for the advice! I was wondering will they ever pop on the plant in December?
I'm still amazed that they all matured so close to eachother... and they stay green for so long after reaching full size, then go brown so quickly.
Nature is very clever.

And here we are all prepared.
Forby, tissue for protecting hands from latex when plucking, and dish / glass for pop proofing.
