Re: CITES and importing Ariocarpus seeds
That was actually my original question, Dennis.
Many thanks to all those who've given information and recommendations, but I'm still in the dark as to whether anyone has recent experience of getting the necessary IMPORT documentation for seeds of CITES Appendix I species (e.g. Ariocarpus) from outside the EU!

Be carefull Bob ,thats wat I did with J.Gauci from Cactus Heaven and he recieved an envelope without the 65? I did post with the letter!!!
People told me to cover the bills with ALUMINUMFOLIE becouse it seem that employees from the postoffice see the metal in the bills and remove the money to thier own pockets!!!!!!
I even did not complain because here in Belgium it is forbidden to send money by post!!!!

Re: CITES and importing Ariocarpus seeds
Thanks Tina
I'm going to take the suggestion, and order some seeds from Doug & Vivi Rowland. Although your link takes me to their home page and shows an illustration of their 2007 catalogue, the link therein seems to take me to the 2006 list. Is the Ariocarpus seed sale in the 2007 printed catalogue?
