Tending more towards cacti :D, particularly Gymnocalyciums, Rebutias, Sulcorebutias, Echinopses, Thelos, Feros and Mamms (and anything else I like the look of!) all in an 8 x 6 polycarb greenhouse and a few windowsills!

Hi Lindsey,

Nice to hear about the Braunsia, looking forward to the picture of the flowers :-)

I've sown the MSG albuca spiralis february 2006.
Less than a year later, the flower stalk is already 7 cm long, but it will take a couple of weeks to flower I guess.
By the way, it is probably not the true species: If I remember well, there are about 5 clearly distinctive species in circulation. My seedlings don't spirale at all, and have 50 cm long leaves, so it clearly does not correspond to the original description.

Hi Tom

I've not grown this myself, but I have afeeling that I read or heard somewhere that the leaves dont spiral in uk cultivation because of the low light intensity??? I guess that might be the same in Belgium too? If it is right at all I suppose!

Sorry, can't help you out with the names.
I think it was Terry who told me that.
