Re: ????
Good question Roy, as I only knew when Ian posted the message.
I guess that Tony wanted to upgrade the software to match the rest of the cactus mall system, this is similar to the trading post set up so at least we fo get new signs now.
Although I don't like the font it's pants !! & I need a magnifying glass now

Re: ????
Font too small? If everyone thinks the same then it can be made bigger, but I don't want to do it if most people think it is OK. Too small? Too big? Goldilocks?

Re: ????
I also thought the font was too small, but I'm getting used to it, even reading it on a 11" laptop screen (1024x768).
I was partly involved with Tony Mace about getting the Forum updated, there was a huge amount of discussion about 12 months or more ago, about new features, grouping of subjects, etc. which couldn't be implemented on the old Forum software.
Ian volunteered to perform the upgrade, as he had all the requisite knowledge, including that of the databse technology used. He's done a great job, in my view, of replicating what we had, and if a different text is about the only residual concern, I think that just proves the point of how good a job has been done.

Re: ????
Well it's the only gripe I have, the font is either too small, wrong font or not strong enough, working on a PC all day and coming on to this is very hard on the eyes. Please change it.
Other wise good job guys.

Re: ????
I'd agree - the size is too small.

Re: ????
I promised Chris before the upgrade that if enough people thought the font was too small, I'd increase it. This is your lucky day
If anyone thinks it is too big now, do let me know! I think it is close to exactly what it was in the old version.
